I used to be a competitive ultra-marathon runner. I have run 7 x one-hundred mile races in my lifetime 🏃🏻♀️But… during my career as a runner, I struggled silently with an eating disorder and abused exercise and my body. It was no surprise really that my body had enough of my behaviors and by 2014, I was forced to retire from running. I then discovered lifting weights + eating carbohydrates, and fell in love pretty quickly.
My goal is to be the Coach I needed when I was facing challenges and struggling for other women. Today, I’m a Dietitian Nutrition Coach that’s obsessed with educating both competitive + recreational runners and lifters how to FUEL their bodies to look good, feel good, and set PR’s inside + outside of the gym.
Recently, I teamed up with endurance coach Scott Jones to create a series of podcast Q&A sessions for his Podcast, Becoming Ultra. Our aim is to debunk common nutrition myths and provide you with accurate information. Runners and gym goers alike, give these 3 episodes a listen and let me know what you think. A new episode will be dropping every 2 weeks.
If you want to be a guest on the podcast and call in with your Question, email me for more details.
