Let’s talk about something most women never get warned about:
Under-fueling.
And before you scroll past thinking “that’s not me,” pause for a second.
There are two types of under-eating I see all the time:
1. The Chronic Under-Eater
You’re consistent. You stay “on track.” You rarely feel hungry because you’ve trained your body to run on less.
But…
- Your weight won’t budge
- Your sleep sucks
- You’re always cold
- Your nails break
- Your hair’s thinning
- Your period’s gone or irregular or sucks the life out of you each month
- And you feel like you’re constantly dragging through the day
Your body is in survival mode. And it’s not letting go of anything.
2. The “Try to Under-eat, End Up Overeating” Cycle
You’re trying to be good. You skip breakfast. Eat a salad for lunch. But by Thursday? You’re elbow-deep in a bag of chips wondering why you “can’t stay consistent.”
Your body is still under-fueled.
And the occasional binge pushes you into a surplus… meaning you might even be gaining weight, despite feeling like you’re starving all week.
And here’s what both of these women have in common:
Their bodies are under stress.
Their hormones are thrown off.
Their results are on pause, or worse, reversing.
So what’s the solution? Send the safety signal.
✅ Eat at maintenance.
✅ Learn what your body actually needs: your macro needs, your recovery needs, your training tolerance.
✅ Focus on 3–4 days of strength training and low-intensity movement.
✅ Support your metabolism before asking it to do more.
This isn’t about “eating more to lose weight.”
It’s about earning the right to see results by rebuilding trust with your body.
We help our clients do this all the time.
And when we do?
⭐️ Their energy comes back.
⭐️ Their cycle returns.
⭐️ Their cravings disappear.
⭐️ Their bodies respond in all the ways they’ve been trying to force.
If any part of this hit home, please know: You’re not broken.
You’re just underfed, over-stressed, and overdue for a better plan.
