Which One are You?

I know why this month is called May. Because in Colorado especially- it may be 90, or it may be 40. It may rain, hail, snow, or we may have tornadoes.

But even with the bipolar weather…

There’s one thing that’s crystal clear this time of year:

People want to feel leaner, lighter, and more confident by summer.

And if that’s you, I want to be real with you today.

Because when it comes to fat loss, building muscle and getting toned, and seeing visible changes, there are really two types of people:

Type 1: Your body wants to respond.

You just haven’t had the right plan.

Maybe you’ve been kind of consistent.

Maybe you’ve tried tracking, hitting your protein targets, and workouts, but you’re missing a few key pieces.

With the right balance of macros, a structured plan that fits your life (even with dinners out and chocolate for dessert)… and a strategy that actually supports your metabolism…

You’re going to make progress. You’re going to see change.

Your body is just waiting on better direction, and the right guidance will unlock it.

Type 2: Your System is Burned Out.

Your body isn’t resisting because it doesn’t want to change.
It’s resisting because it’s burned the hell out.

You’ve been dieting too long.

Cutting too frequently.

Training too hard with too little recovery.

Living in go-go-go mode 24/7.

You’ve created overdrive… and now, your body is stuck in survival mode.

So when you try to drop calories or hit another fat loss sprint?

Your body fights back. Hard.

The solution?

Not another weight loss challenge program.

Not more restriction.

Definitely not 6am Boot Camps on no fuel.

What you need is healing. Maintenance. Recovery.
What you need is a body that’s willing to work with you again.
And yes, your summer body may be a 2026 thing.

But if you keep pushing your body to do what it can’t right now?

You might not get there until 2027. Or later.

This isn’t meant to scare you… it’s meant to give you clarity.

Because the most powerful thing you can do right now… is know which one you are.

Are you someone who’s ready to respond and just needs the right plan?

Or is your body waving the white flag, asking you to finally slow down so you can move forward again?

Either way, you’re not broken. But you do need a different strategy than the one that got you stuck.
