I haven’t tracked my macros for several weeks this summer.
I’ve eaten more chips (and ice cream) than usual.
I’ve had some travel.
I’ve had dinners out. BBQs. Late nights.
And my weight hasn’t changed.
No rebound.
No “back on track” panic.
No guilt.
No anxiety.
Now… that doesn’t mean I’ve thrown everything out the window.
I still prioritize protein.
I still move my body every day and walk my dogs, Molly and Max. And get a ton of steps. I still get my lifting workouts in (I’ve averaged 4-5x/week this whole Summer).
But the difference is… I’ve been doing this for a long time.
