It took me decades to realize this 👇🏽

Why I workout and fuel my body goes beyond what I see in the mirror 💕

Working out and eating balanced allows me to be strong and confident outside of the gym too. It makes me a better woman, wife, dog mama, daughter, sister, friend, and CEO.

It took me decades to realize that fitness and nutrition should give me a better life… not be my whole life. That food is fuel. But it can also be comfort and celebration. And that working out to look good is fine. But it’s also about feeling good. And being able to enjoy life ❤️

A decade ago I traded in my running sneaks and racing 100-mile mountain ultra races, all while struggling with disordered eating, for lifting weights, hiking mountains, and fueling my body.

I enjoyed life and using my body this weekend to snuggle + walk the dogs, do an upper body session with my swolemate Jase, play at the dog park with M&M, hike with Maxi, cook/bake, and watch football (Go Bills) 💛
