7️⃣ Nutrition & Fitness Tips from my Puppy, Max 🐕
Ya’ll know me. I am a crazy dog girl. Who is also crazy about getting women results.
So how exactly is your nutrition & fitness journey related to the cutest pup?
1️⃣ Your Nutrition & Fitness journey is a lot like training a puppy. It’s a process, & consistency is king. You can’t train a puppy overnight, just like you can’t Amazon Prime your body. Stay focused on foundational habits/behaviors and daily routines.
2️⃣ Exercise + Daily Steps are important for both mental & physical health.
3️⃣ Although exercise is good…Not too much, and not too little. Follow a good Progressive Strength Training Plan (ahem: we have one you can follow!)!
4️⃣ And if you don’t exercise as much one day, you still “earned” your dinner (despite what My Fitness Pal might say).
5️⃣ Max likes snacks… & you should too! Prioritize Protein at your meals/snacks. And sorry, Peanut Butter isn’t a great protein source. Despite what Max says. Be sure to download my Grocery + Meal Guides for meal/snack options higher in protein.
6️⃣ The best diet/exercise plan is the one that’s most sustainable for you and doesn’t have you restrict your fave foods.
7️⃣ The secret sauce to growing and building a strong and healthy body is the right amount of exercise, adequate fuel, combined with rest, recovery, & sleep.
Which Tip is your favorite?
⚠️ It’s Tip # 4️⃣ for me…
I once had a client tell me that because she didn’t work out that day, she felt like she didn’t “earn” her food for the day. I asked her if her dog didn’t get their walk that day, would she let them go hungry, without dinner? Food for thought.
Remember that the best results come from the right amount of exercise, adequate fuel, combined with rest, recovery, & sleep.
